I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and licensed psychologist. I specialize in clinical work with children, adolescents, and their families. I provide family, group, individual, and couples therapy. I also complete comprehensive psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. My professional interests include complex trauma, issues surrounding adoption and foster care, youth involved in the juvenile justice system, grief and loss, and high-conflict families going through a divorce or separation. I have been working with youth and their families for over seven years in a variety of clinical settings, including residential treatment centers, schools, private practice, community mental health centers, and an outpatient hospital clinic. I believe that when working with children and adolescents, family involvement is crucial to the change process. Areas I have received specific training experiences include: Comprehensive psychological evaluations for complications related to prenatal exposure to alcohol and other substances, early childhood assessment and therapy, including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), trauma work utilizing the evidence-based treatment of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), court-ordered evaluations, and attachment work with families and youth who have been adopted.
