She/Her/Hers

I work with children ages 4 to 17, doing in home community mental health work. I also work with adults, primarily parents struggling with their own mental health diagnoses, and stressors impacting their parenting skills and relationships with their children or others in the community. I work a lot with individuals struggling with trauma, and resulting high risk behaviors related to the ways in which they cope with their trauma and view the world. I also work a lot with children who experience diagnoses primarily ranging from ADHD, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders and conduct related disorders. In my work, I use a lot of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, art therapy techniques, and movement based strategies. I have a holistic approach to services in which I help clients focus on self care, and managing all aspects of their health including physical, mental, spiritual and emotional health. I also practice in culturally competent ways to respect the cultural values of the families and clients I serve.
