Katherine (she/her) is Licensed Graduate Social Worker and holds a Master's degree in social work from Augsburg University and a Bachelor's degree in social work from St. Olaf College. Katherine has the honor and privilege of working with children, adolescents, their caregivers, and multi-disciplinary teams of diverse identities and backgrounds who have been impacted by abuse and trauma. She provides trauma informed and culturally responsive individual and group therapy services to children and adolescents ages 3-17 at CornerHouse in Minneapolis. Prior to becoming a therapist she worked alongside foster youth to identify and support permanency connections, emphasizing the importance of relatives, culture, community, and kin.

As an inter-country, transracial adoptee herself, Katherine enjoys working with foster youth and adoptees as well as their caregivers and support people. Katherine is a steering committee member for Network of Politicized Adoptees where she helps advance adoptee justice through community power and collective work towards systemic change.
