She/Her/Hers

I have worked in child welfare and adoption since 2004, where I served as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem for Ramsey County. From 2006-2017, I filled a variety of roles with the North American Council on Adoptable Children (NACAC) that primarily centered around advocacy, support, and education for youth, young adults, families, and professionals within the child welfare and adoption communities. I went on to work as a Permanency Specialist for Ampersand Families, and then spent a year working with youth experiencing homelessness and housing instability at Oasis for Youth. Additionally, I volunteered as a Sexual Violence Crisis Advocate with Ramsey County for 12 years.

In my current role at Foster Adopt Minnesota, I provide resources, support, and connections to local services for families who have recently finalized adoptions and Transfers of Permanent Legal and Physical Custody (TPLPC) from the Minnesota foster care system.
