Erin Simonson, MSW, LICSW, LADC
Erin earned her Master’s of Social Work from the University of North Dakota in 2019, following her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Argosy University in 2006. She has been working with individuals impacted by trauma since 2006, bringing extensive experience from various settings, including residential chemical dependency treatment, community-based mental health, school-based, outpatient mental health and chemical dependency, and community social work consultation.

Erin has advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness-Based Ecotherapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Critical Memory Integration (CMI), and other mindfulness-based modalities.

Erin is also certified in early childhood mental health approaches such as DC: 0-5 and Attachment Biobehavioral Catch-Up (ABC) for infants and Early Childhood and caregivers, with additional training in Attachment Biobehavioral Catch Up for early childhood. Erin has specialized training in Synergetic Play Therapy and Permanency and Adoption Competency through the University of Minnesota.

Passionate about helping family systems affected by trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, parenting, and mental health concerns, Erin approaches her work from a somatic-informed, person-centered perspective.
